Merging academic rigour with the scientific method.
Getting Nsukka to the fore of humanity before 2100.
The journey began with a critique of standard learning methods like "active recall" and "spaced repetition." A deep dive into the works of Dr. Justin Sung revealed that learning itself could be decoded using science.
After funding over two years of membership via referrals, a realization struck: most problems, when properly phrased, are amenable to variations of the scientific method.
"When learning itself is broken down to be explored by the scientific method, we unlock the true potential of human intelligence."
Inception: A quirk of congratulating First Class graduates evolved into the NSK STEM Society.
Recruitment: Top graduates from the University of Nigeria recruited.
Goal: "Nsukka to the fore of humanity."
The Responsiveness Issue: Mentors were not followed up with, and academic data was not provided by members. We converted this organizational failure into a scientific challenge to be solved.
Milestone: First set of undergraduate members accessing world-class internships.
We are now in a position to open our findings to the public.
